Jingle Belts

Driving down the road yesterday I heard a noise. First thought was something hanging off a car, so a quick slow down/speed up to be sure it wasn't my car. The noise didn't change so I started to really listen to it to try to see where it was coming from. It was kind of funny though, it didn't sound at all like the normal something dragging, it sounded more like jingle bells.

A couple lane changes later I found the culprit. A flatbed truck with webbing tie downs. The truck was empty and 2 of the rolled tie downs had come loose dangling behind the truck. The buckles made the jingling noise as they bounced down the highway.

I watched that truck for a couple miles, because not only were the belts musical - they danced. They didn't drag they hopped and spun and crossed and lept. The thick webbing straps holding them looked almost like legs. It was sort of an impromptu truck tap dance.
