Blustery.

The wind is blowing wildly. The house is creaking and squeeking in the most amazing ways. My feet are a bit cold.

I'm glad I got the dead trees taken down last month. This wind storm would have felled them for sure. A rather large and not dead tree in the woods was snapped last night. There are many bright white injuries where it clipped its and everyone elses branches on the way down. So far all of our trees remain upright.

The boys are off at a movie so I don't have to fight for screen time. Dinner is already in the crockpot, so that's not a worry either. There's nothing on the calendar for today and none of the chores are urgent. Just the right kind of break for a long weekend.
