Plenty of Nuthin'

This weekend I did pretty much nothing. I had 2 items on the to do list and did only 1. I did clean up a mass of papers and other clutter (including scads of catalogs) but that's about it.

The only item of note from the weekend was that the boy had another grand weekend of play dates. It was utterly bizzare to be in the house with hubs for 4 hours on Saturday with the boy somewhere else. Then they had such fun the two of them were at our place on Sunday. Most notable because they actually spent an hour or so outside playing. That is something the boy never does alone.

And speaking of the boy, my child turns 9 this week. Amazing how time passes. Just a few kid years left before he'll be a dreaded teenager. When that happens perhaps we can finally cut down on the interminable goodbye/goodnight process (good bye/good bye, have a great day/you too, love you/love you, good bye/good bye, love you/love you ...)

Today, more nothing. Total frustration on the report fixes. Tension in the office between the admin assistants (who after fighting this morning, don't appear to be speaking). Tension around the boss (almost always).

Put a fork in me, I'm done.
