One Million.

Sunday. The March. The pundits will debate how many people were in DC for the March for Women's Lives but I will say this I can easily believe it was a million.

The day started with a trip to meet LA , her husband and son, Melissa, Hillary, Pandi and her husband for brunch. It was wonderful to meet these strong, beautiful women.

Then we headed down to the March. Mike and Wolf went to the museums while we ladies and Dan headed to the mall. The crowds were almost overwhelming. Early on we hit a snag as Hil got separated from the group. That colored the rest of the day as we tried to a) find her and b) stay close to where we lost her in case she was looking for us. After lots of looking and wondering Pandi, Dan, and Melissa marched and LA and I stayed put.

It was a wonderful experience - but not without a lot of angst. Losing someone in that kind of crowd was difficult. There was much cell phone tag to home base but she didn't have hers with her. In the end she had checked in and I am hoping everyone that needed to get back together did. After the ladies marched, LA rejoined her family and I headed home to catch the boy's soccer game.

Ladies (and spouses) I loved meeting you! We'll definitely have to do it again. But next time, the first task will be to designate home base so we can regroup if necessary.

One in a million ...
