The Normal Chaos.

Yesterday was home with a perfectly well boy who just happened to throw up at 3 am. The husband got home early which allowed me to go exercise before the PTA meeting. We only ended up having 1 potential new member at the Open House. The others who were around just came because their children were in the educational seminar group that we loaned money to. They came to present their company to us. It was pretty cute.

Today was catching up at work. Being blind sided by testing next week on a system that doesn't have a current test area. A new PC to set up software on meant a trip downtown. Then back to find one of the servers downtown had seized up - luckily one of the network guys was down there and could fix it. Many phone calls with clients and email requests for information. The day flew.

I picked the boy up and was treated to a child who thought he had finished his work at school. Except that he had all his work from yesterday to complete. He was not a happy camper. It's something I have a hard time with too. I'm a quit whining and dig in kind of gal. He's a fuss and whine kind of guy. He whimpered for 15 minutes straight - I nearly throttled him. This is why the husband usually does the homework with him (even if it is occasionally beyond DH).

Now dinner's done. Dishes too. Husband's home. And all is quiet. I even got another 3 worksheets out of the boy! That leaves 3 more for tomorrow.

As my sister always says - dull is good.
