Poking the Bears.

Seems BGH was deeply affected by being yelled at by the bosses on Wednesday. Not that I blame him. Nothing is more ego deflating than being told not to talk to anyone important and the only reason you are in your current position of power is because you are apolitical. On the other hand, what drugs were the bosses on that made them think he was apolitical?

So today was a day for poking the bears. Making subtle and not so subtle comments that are sure to have rippling effects through the organization. He told the princess that he wasn't really supposed to talk with folks outside our organization. He included her in that and she was pretty ballistic. He sat in a meeting and carefully listened and carefully didn't comment so as not to have a repeat. But then had a phone conversation where he openly demurred because of the new prohibitions.

Interesting to see what will come of this. Funny thing, these games.
