Disney Therapy.

Nothing like a nice viewing of the Jungle Book to lift a bit of the doldrums. We noticed that this was one of the few Disney offerings that we didn't have so DH rented it last night. Nothing like cuddling on the couch with munchie and watching a movie. How can you not smile when Baloo is singing "Bare Necessities"?

Nearly as good was the little documentary about the movie on the tape after it. I liked the guy who played King Louie. The stills show him and his band just jamming all through the recording studio when their song was taped. Apparently Walt was criticized for choosing the voice actors and then just animating them as animals and using their personality for the character. Since everyone knew those guys at the time apparently it was obvious then. Now, of course, we don't care what the actors were like in real life. They simply are Baloo and Ka and Louie and Baghera.

We also had rain last night (YEAH!). Of course they called for 2 days worth of rain and we got only a half inch, but whatcha gonna do. We've got it bad, but there are definitely places in worse shape.

So I'm truckin' along.

Tonight's a show with the best babe, so I'm sure to be happier tomorrow too. Although probably tired, really tired.
