Now Then Say Howdy About Me Guestbook Moved - 2007-07-16 |
2001-09-07 - 7:46 p.m. In the News: I found this article just fascinating. In case the link goes dead over time - what happened is they got a whole lot of school children in England to jump up and down at a set time in order to make an earthquake. And they did it. It was measurable on devices all through England. Wow! Just like trying to tip the school bus over. I admit it, I'm a news junkie. At least online I am. I don't really watch much tv. I read as much of the paper as I have time for, and read online all the time. I love it! My favorites are the Obscure Store for weird news and the Morrock News Digest for the columnists. The stress level is pretty low right now - party invites were distributed, our new neighbors finally moved in and have twin kindergarteners (YEAH, Friends for munchkin!), I'm playing SCA tomorrow, I have a pint of concession obsession, and I got an Email from the wonderful and amazing Helena in South Africa! Sometimes you've just got to savor the moment, because you know darn well it won't last! TTFN
