Not Torture.

Family dinner night last night was a hoot. I haven't laughed that hard in a long, long time. Not sure what got into us but everything was funny.

SIL was talking about how she thinks her boyfriend is a little excited about Christmas this year. He's been divorced for a long time, and I don't think he's had many steady girlfriends. However knowing what she bought him for presents just had me howling. "Woohoo a smoke detector!"

And the amusement of discussing a bar that other SIL knows the owner of. SIL1 says "that's a meat market" and SIL2 say no it's a bar. She totally wasn't getting the concept of meat market - she was thinking beef and pork. We were rolling.

Add to that the delicious irony of having to explain to hubs what "the short bus" is.

I was in tears.
