Technically it's still summer.

The weather is rather nice. The fridge is full of fresh veg. Things are still green. And even though it's after labor day the calendar doesn't put autumn until later this month.

I celebrated in my own little way by making a big pot of ratatouille, cooking a big steak on the grill and following up with corn on the cob and watermelon.

I'm gonna make it last while I can.
