Art Appreciation.

I went with the boy's class to the art museum yesterday. I'm really proud of those munchkins because they got it. Totally got it in a way so many adults don't even get it. I'm in awe of their wonderful art teacher too. She is fabulous and she must be doing something amazingly right because those kids had it going on. They blew away the retired guy who was our docent. They knew what they were looking at. They knew the difference between realistic and abstract art and they knew how to appreciate both types. Other than a strange need during the 'tell a story about this picture' part where they all made the girl an orphan it was all good. Well, except for work where they apparently can not function for 4 hours without me.
