I've been asked what is Weetapie and why am I so excited to go. I'm delighted to answer.

Weetapie is a mini-con hosted by the fabulous Weetabix and MoPie. It is a gathering of Journalers in this case for the purpose of making pilgrimages to many of the fun sites Weet writes about on her site.

I'm excited because not only do I love the opportunity to get out and about, I love meeting other Journalers. Since early on in this adventure the thing I've loved most about online journals was that it gives me a peek into the lives of people I would probably never meet otherwise. Cons and mini-cons are just an extension of that for me, a chance to meet people who are different than my everyday experience.

On Friday at this time I'll be winging to the midwest. I can't wait!
