My sister always said the one thing you don't want to see when you arrive at work is the guys from 60 Minutes waiting in the lobby. (That happened to her once, they were there to see her boss.) I'd added to that one that you don't want to see your company in the paper on the receiving end of a lawsuit. (Even if the countersuit was kind of fun to read.)

Today I will add you don't want a phone call from your sister-in-law telling you that the niece you got a summer job for a couple years ago just got interviewed by the FBI because they're investigating your former boss. Yikes!
