So last weekend the world lost the men behind the original voices of both Tigger and Piglet. Paul Winchell hadn't done Tigger in a long while, but John Fieldler the gentleman who did piglet's voice did it to the end.

The oddest thing that I read was a quote from Paul Winchell's daughter who called him a "very sad man" but with no explaination. Looking for the quote again I found a reference to his daughter's blog and his estrangement from his kids but unfortunately that site is blocked at work. Strange to think that he was also an inventor who did pioneering work on the artificial heart. Not what you'd picture from someone who did cartoon voices.
