Tra La La.

Many chores have been accomplished. Many items are cleaner and brighter than they were before.

There is soup on the stove for the teachers dinner next week. I'll have to wait until the last minute to make cookies for it lest the boys think they are for them.

Speaking of the boys, they are downstairs playing a game on an ancient atari computer. The husband has a game that he loves and he has carefully maintined the ancient computer for the sole purpose of playing the game. There was a tragedy late last month when he plugged in the computer and the hard drive had died. There was a brief bit of weeping and gnashing of teeth followed by cruising ebay until he acquired a replacement. Now they are busily playing the beloved game on the ancient computer together.

Sometime soon football will happen. The husband has a preference this year as he is an Eagles fan. I'm not a football kind of gal. At least this year I know who's playing. There was one year when I'd never even heard of one of the teams.
