Dull as Dishwater.

What is there to say about a weekend where the big excitement is picking up carpeting for the husband to put on his train layout? The worst part is that he made this big production number about how he was going to need help picking up this carpet because he'd never be able to lift it, and quite frankly I think the little boy could have lifted it. It was so light they were having trouble getting the automatic measurer to measure and cut it. So the big production number turned out to be a family outing to a big box hardware store to stand and watch them measure and cut carpet.

So I dismantled the holiday decorations. Put the house back together. And I cleaned a bit. Now I'm toying with what the appropriate slothlike afternoon activity should be.
