The word of the day is sleep.

I'm not working tonight - hooray! Time to let this independent program act independently. Last night everything ran fine. The only bummer of the whole thing was that the PTA social was in the evening but I really couldn't drink because I had to work later. Yes, I probably could have gotten away with it except that I've been sleep deprived since Monday and I knew a glass of wine would put me out.

Tonight I will supervise bath time. Read a couple books to the boy. Kiss him goodnight and tuck him into bed. Then slip across the hall and visit my own comfy sheets. It will be good.
