What do you do in snow up to your knees?

Not much.

The snow covered the birdseed I put out within an hour. It is now impossible to tell that anything was there. It is just one layer in the couple of feet of snow on the deck. We were amazed when the snow was as deep as the swings. They've since disappeared under several inches.

DH & munchkin went outside for a while. DH shovelled a path for the dog so he could be let out to visit the shrubbery. You can see where the walkway is, but there's a couple new inches there too.

Even the overachieving neighbors just let the snow lay in the driveway. It can wait until things slow down at least. At one point we were getting 4 inches an hour, and it's been going all day long.

Whatever happened to global warming?
