Oh. My. God.

They are ordering a fancy new phone for us at work. One that shows who is calling. So that we can not pick up the phone if it's a user problem. That's right - So we can avoid calls from users.

They want to force all user calls to the receptionist so they can be logged. And if you go down to the user floors to help someone - you aren't supposed to help anyone else, just tell them to call upstairs to the help desk. Oh yeah, that's gonna go over real well.

Bah. I'd be laughing if it weren't so damn sad.
