Jigsaw Philosophy.

(Can you tell what I've been spending too much time doing...)

If you're just randomly trying things, you'll get some pieces to fit but if you have the outline it goes more easily.

The more you try a piece where it doesn't really fit, the more the edges will fray, so don't bother if the picture doesn't fit.

Even the black pieces often have shades of gray.

That said, sometimes you just have to try every black piece in the box.

If you make a mistake and don't catch it, it will effect all your efforts in that area. You may have had the right piece all along for the next spot over and never known because of the wrong one.

Take a step back every now and then and look at the picture.

Remember, this is supposed to be fun.
