The boy is "Headliner of the Week" in school. They have to fill out a mock newspaper front page. It has some topic headlines and they fill in the story. One item was "My Hero". Apparently I am the boy's hero because I cook dinner and play some games with him. So apparently there are benefits to getting your ego handed to you regularly at the game console.
