Not too shabby.

The weekend in review was not nearly as exciting as the last but not too shabby. There were chores (of course) and some do things for work from home. However there was also the celebration of the Best Babe's natal day. Nothing says happy birthday like multiple pitchers of margaritas at our favorite mexican place. I also saw the latest sweet and lite animated movie with the family. Cute, totally lacking in heft, and probably not a classic but a pleasant diversion for the eight year old, none the less.

Lisa-Marie was a goddess and came through with an address to order the awesome chopped cherry jam online! I started the taxes but only in the vaguest, make sure we have everything, sort of way. It's times like these I wish I hadn't married such a lazy man. I hate doing all the financial stuff. Of course if he was in charge, I suppose all our investments would be in Lionell and MTH Trains.

On a final note - one week has passed and the husband has made no attempt to fix the light he broke. In fact he has not so much as mentioned the light he broke. Grrrr.
