Math-a-thon.

They had a math-a-thon at school yesterday. Collect pledges for the Red Cross based on the number of problems the student can complete correctly in the alloted 15 minutes. The boy was diswrought last week because we hadn't collected pledges. So I told him that I would pledge $1 a problem.

Who knew the child could complete 50 math problems correctly in 15 minutes.
