I'll have the usual.

Since we had a co-worker leave last week things have been a bit livelier than I like. She was the primary contact on one of the new software applications. The boss divvied that up to her data entry person being the data administrator, one of the help desk guys to take the user calls and me to coordinate fixing any program errors. Now as near as I can tell the data entry person is taking all the calls and doing most of the data admin. I'm doing the rest of the data admin and answering her questions and the help desk guy is doing something else entirely. Things never work out so cleanly as the boss envisions.

Speaking of the bossman he is beat down. He is obviously depressed and downtrodden. Two weeks ago he took the precautions of having his stuff in storage moved into one pile and had boxes delivered to his office. Apparently he fully expected to be fired. Frankly the rest of us think he's being tortured in hopes he will quit. That way the higher ups can avoid the buying out of an svp.

It's sad, it's tense, it's a damn shame.

Home life features the ever moody small child and the amazing missing husband (ok, so he's not really missing just in the basement).
