The right kind of day.

Yesterday really was a nice mix for me. Slept late, made waffles. Then a family trip to the movies. A nice lunch together. Read the paper. Then just when I was starting to wonder what the heck to do, a call to plan dinner with a good friend. Followed by an excellent evening of chow & chat. Hmmm, what's not to like about that.

Today has a bit more random and annoying feel about it. Awakened by a phone call at 7:30. DH had to do a couple of hours at work. Then I realized he hadn't taken out the trash (not a small task with the amazing humungous driveway we have). Now it's nearly 11 and munchkin is still in his jammies, but DH is home (and he even emptied the dishwasher ... swoon). No plans, no where to go, nothing in particular to do.
