Things Fall Apart.

Amazing to watch the progression of the bank as we move toward conversion. The process is really underway in earnest. There is finally a lot of nitty gritty nuts and bolts work going on to move systems over. Of course not everyone gets to play those games so there are a bunch of employees who are bored silly as well. It's easy to see how things are just by looking at the parking lot.

Attritition has made the parking ample. Apathy has made it cyclical. The lot used to fill by 8:30 now it tends to reach it's peak around 10. The parking lot used to empty between 4:30 and 5. Now it's a ghost town that late. Mondays and Fridays are sparse. Lunches are long.

In theory the letters with sever dates will start going out this week or next. I expect things will really go to hell after that.
