A little bit of Mexico

Dearest LA said 'Mexico pictures please'. So here's a tiny tidbit from the sunny south.

This is the center of the action the pool. The resort was a multi-hotel complex. The part we were in was down one side of a series of pools with a sister hotel down the other side. This is the main pool looking toward the swim up bar home of our main man Julio who took very, very good care of us.

This is one of me at Chichenitza looking toward the great pyramid. Note the bloodied knees.

This I took a photo of because it was very cool. It's a wall at the pyramid site. I loved the skull carvings. Apparently atop it was where they put the heads of their vanquished enemies after they separated them from their bodies.

Finally my postcard shot from the trip. This is taken in Playa del Carmen. We were on the main shopping street - not so impressive but looking down the cross street really was impressive.
