Back to Normal.

The hubs had off in honor of President Ford, the rest of us went back to the regular routine. Or mostly at least. The boy scammed morning donuts from hubs (donut day is like a monthly holiday for them). I think hubs picked him up early too, not that you could tell as they weren't done homework when I got in.

Work was back to normal as well. Commander Crazy spent his morning with a typewriter and a job application in between butting his nose into what his remaining worker bees were doing. I think I have it figured out, though. The last piece fell into place today. He's supremely pissed because his main network minion got a job offer (I found that out today) and several of us believe that generated a retention bonus. The minion interviewed immediately after the sale but hasn't said another single word about leaving since then. That's suprising only if there's not good cash backing it up.

So I believe CC is pissed because he doesn't have a job offer ergo no one has offered him a retention bonus. He believes he's the most important guy there and I think it would toast his nuts if his minion was already being paid to stay. He's been driving his employees off to make himself more important, but it's common knowlege that he could go just as long as the chief minon stays.

Nothing like a little drama to keep us occupied at work.
