Someone had to do it...

Yeah, I'm at work. Somebody had to come to work today (particularly someone with keys to the office). This isn't one of my prefered days to waste the precious leave, so here I am.

The holiday was very good. My sister was hostess. She bought, had and served way more food than any family unit needs. It was all very tasty (even the squash casserole that looked like a bit of an abomination).

Funny moments - the nephew & his wife who brought the pies, but didn't realize that frozen pies needed to be baked before you could eat them; the nephew mashing potatoes and accidentaly pushing the beater eject button leading to premature ejection during beating; the munchkin grandnephew who refused to share his grandmother with any of her siblings, he would push us away and say 'bye'; my son singing his Thanksgiving song and offering an encore and making up the dumbest knock knock jokes ever heard.

A very fine holiday.

Today we've had a server that won't talk to the keyboard, a server that's dead, and not much else. Which is prefered, really.
